Easy Salsa Verde Recipe


Ingredients
* 1-28oz can tomatillos, drained, but save juice
* 1/2-bunch cilantro (about 1/2 cup)
* 1/3-large onion
* 3-jalapenos, (include seeds if you want more heat)
* salt to taste

Directions
1. Chop all ingredients into size suitable for your blender.
2. Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until a smooth sauce is obtained.
3. Taste and add salt as needed.
Note:
1. If sauce is too thick, add some of the juice saved from the tomatillos.
2. If tomatillos are unavailable, you can substitute tomatoes but it will have a different flavor than traditional salsa verde.
